"Up Close" with Alex Pattee
With the loss of Ed Bradwell to graduation, redshirt-sophomore Alex Pattee enters the 2010 season as the top candidate to take over Florida Atlantic’s weak side linebacker spot. A highly recruited prospect coming out of high school, the Owls' coaching staff hopes that Pattee can be as productive as he was in high school when he was labeled as one of the top 50 linebackers his senior year by Scout.com.
Playing in four games last season, Pattee’s year ended early after a mid-November injury caused him to miss the remainder of the schedule. Practicing with FAU’s first team defense in spring and fall practices, he looks primed to start his first game and record his first career tackle this fall…
