Malik Eugene hopes to help rebuild a Florida Atlantic defense that struggled last season giving up almost 220 yards a game rushing. The 6’3” 240 pound Eugene is slated to start at strong-side linebacker positions for the Owls.

With 10 starts last season for the Owls and playing time in 12, Eugene recorded 34 tackles throughout the year and recovered three fumbles. His best game came in the season opener at Nebraska, in which he had five tackles, a pass break up, and a quarterback hurry…
