FAU has progressed from making mistakes ALL game in the beginning to making 1 or2 bad mistages a game.

That is progress. Now next spring and camp can be spent REFINING the process and eliminatiing those mistakes.

The QB situation is the HUGE wildcard in this programs advancement next year.

The 1 constant that hasn't changed in years…. PENALTIES!

One thing for sure is it hasn't been a qb problem this year. Poor play calling and no running game or holes to run in and bad defense. QB has been bright spot and should carry over into next year.

Two plays that changed the game are pretty easy:

- Wilbert's interception in the redzone
- The kickoff returned for a TD

Also in consideration: Wilbert escaping the pocket and throwing it when he had a chance to run for enough yardage to get the first down.

So many things made that game complicated, from FIU having a bye week to the rain to establishing absolutely no running game at all. It was just a weird, weird game at the worst possible time (from a fan's perspective)

The "problem" is that nobody's getting any gametime other than Wilbert.

Curtis has only been in for a play here or there and not a full drive since the… Wagner?… game.

Even if Bracewell turns out to be "the guy", he hasn't played in an actual game since… I can't even remember.

Games have been to close and Wilbert has been doing good, why disrupt his rhythm.

With one game left I say let Wilbert start and play the 1st half, Then let Curits take 3rd, and Bracewell 4th.

Season is over, lets see what next years guys can do with some real play time.

Unless we have a real shot at the upset - wins for the program very important too at this point, especially if the Coaches think they are handing the reigns over to German or another JUCO QB recruit anyhow.
