2006 Opponents

Tidbits about 2006 opponents from 'Spring footnotes' in today's (Sunday, April 30) Denver Post:

Allen Webb Jr. wasn't hurt by mysteriously missing the second and third days of Kansas State's spring ball. He threw two touchdown passes in the spring game and is one of five players involved in a wide-open quarterback hunt.

Oklahoma State had one of the worst spring scrimmages in the country. In 103 plays, the Cowboys had 11 turnovers, seven dropped passes and 12 penalties. The starters rebounded in the spring game to outscore the reserved 38-6.
