People often try to give us crap about Carrot Top as one of more famous alumni and even though I can't even remember seeing enough of show to tell whether he's funny or not, I try to remind people that Carrot Top has a well-reviewed show at Luxor in Las Vegas. Like him or not, he's owed some respect for that, right?

Anyway, I found this that might shed a little more light on what the guy is actually like.

Cool. Why was he there - just swung by or did someone at FAU invite him?

And what did he say about the stadium and the Owlsley statue and everything? There was a picture floating around with him over in the IV area…

I saw his show in Vegas and he was hilarious. 

Just for the record, i like the guy!

He has changed his "appearance" a bit from the earlier days though…….

It certainly couldnt hurt to have him involved with the university.

After all he got his start in comedy at FAU, and BUTTS road just off of Glades is what gave him the idea for his act.

Give him Swag, and maybe an FAU Fathead type of thing that he could show on stage.

Blast from the not so distant past to wet the whistle as we approach the 5th Annual Bonfire!
