Thanks. My phone was basically dead.

I'll have to upload them tomorrow. I'm exhausted. There were five or six people with professional cameras out taking pictures so I'm sure it's only a matter of time before they show up… just in case they get there first.

Overall it was a great event. The music and the food trucks got things started, the bonfire kicked off… I was waiting for some kind of opening speech before we lit the fire and then suddenly it was just going. I asked someone who started it and he said, "some fireman just came up and threw something on it."

I didn't see Schnellenberger anywhere. I asked if he had been part of lighting it and he said, "Who? I don't know who that is."

Guess I can't be surprised that the freshmen don't know Schnellenberger. Maybe they'll know once they see his statue.

Sounds good.

FYI, we have made some significant enhancements to photo uploading…we'll need to connect offline and I can share the process with you.

that's sad and funny all at the same time

Probably what a lot of recruits thought during those last few years as well.

They won't have that issue tonight when he takes the field with the 83 National Champs squad at the game. My only question would be if the PA Announcer will have script to recognize that he built FAU as well…

Bonfire pictures. I'm sure you'll see plenty of others in the days ahead.

The crowd about 7:30. Final crowd was about twice this. Lots of good vibes and excitement in the air. Very different atmosphere than when I was a freshmen at FAU.

Food trucks!

Dance team

Bad reggae concert

And the main event: the bonfire itself.

I did the preview and all the pictures were there. Now it's showing one. I did this twice. It took forever.  I don't get this imaging system at all.

I'll try to fix it later - have to get ready for the tailgate. Sorry guys.
