A different QB problem

Anyone know when MG3 gets here?

yep… its flessner. He is gone and maybe 2 more.

I have a feeling like every incoming QB thought the job was basically theirs since Wilbert was sh*t-poor last year. Then when you see the number of the QBs on the roster and the MG3 highlight tape, you think, well, maybe I won't be playing for awhile.

We're hinging a lot on MG3 to make us instantly respectable again and hope he doesn't wash out. Maybe too much.

But I'm optimistic. My only concern is a scenario in which if he's good enough to get us say 8 wins and then suddenly he gets a big head and/or gets in trouble with the law.

If MG3 gets us 8 wins, I'd be more concerned with Pelini flying the coop.

Has anyone heard how he did in his classes? Is he still on track to come here?

I think its awesome that fans put so much stock in someone who is supposed to be the smartest player on the field, but yet you wait to see if a jc transfer can make the grades after 2 years of jc.

Yeah, but then as soon as anyone criticized him he'd start crying, have a mental breakdown and end up running naked down the street hopped up on peyote.  Seriously though he was awesome at Texas, I'm not sure what broke him a few years later but I thought he was a pretty normal guy at UT.

Or the UT football machine hid it well :) he was a god there, and the university has a lot of control in that town, so even if he did run through the streets nakes hopped up on peyote they could've hidden it.

I'm just hoping Melvin gets here and proves me right!

MG3 is the type of talent we always wished we got at FAU. If he qualifies I can't see how he won't be the starter.
