We will probably see some of the recruits from last signing class compete for starting spot come spring…some where push into action during the later part of the season & did fairly well, in not the best of circumstances.

The D got embarrassed last season and will want to rectify the woes they dealt with…there is a lot of talent on the defensive side of the ball, it just a matter of getting everybody on the same page and getting some confidence.

I think the D will be VASTLY improved now with a better scheme and better strength and conditioning. I worry about the run game though with the O line losing so much experience.

I really like the change of D-coordinators this offseason…it was a much needed change. however, our new d-line coach can not double as a strength coach. i hope this is not a way for FAU so save some bucks. Tony Smith was one of the major reasons we excelled in '07. A position coach should not be the strength and conditioning coach at a
D-1 school.
