AD Chun's prelimary plan.

A total revamping of The Owl Club is in the works as well.

I assume they have an office in the Alumni Center…?

Or do you mean the approach to attracting boosters is being revamped…?

The Owl Club is out of the Athletics Department, there is actually some weird political tension between the Alumni Assn and the Owl Club, hopefully that can change with Chun in place

The latter.

The previous regime did nothing to increase membership in the Owl Club.

Hey Exit39 - PM me ur current info and I can have it changed in the system.

I have access to the system but it's not my personal job to update it.  No naming names as to who's job that is.  :P

I like the fact AD Chun has been meeting with people, hitting up the big names in south florida and trying to get donations. People said he is very approachable and easy to talk to. Unlike Mr. Angelos.

Really? Is it because they're both trying to recruit donors and Alumni Association worries if people donate to the Owl Club they won't donate to the NAA? Or something else?

This is from D'Angelo at the Palm Beach Post. I like the plan, but I agree about us being part of the next round of conference expansions, but until we get modern basketball and baseball faciliites there is no chance that is happening.

He is very charismatic and will chat anyone up.  So far, we have a good one from my interactions with him.  He has a clear plan and vision and I think he will be able to execute it.

He knows the IMMEDIATE demographics of BOCA RATON and what we need to fill the stadium.

You'll hear this ad nauseum from him, if you love softball, swimming, women's volleyball or some other non-revenue producing sport…..  BUY A FOOTBALL TICKET!  I believe we have 19 sports so the football revenue pie is split….. 19 WAYS!

He is on the complete opposite spectrum of our former AD.

From what Ive heard, both groups refuse to share their databases with each other. I know the FAUNAA struggled working with the previous AD bc he wanted to charge them for everything and in turn they wouldn't share their data bc they were being treated like customers off the streets.

Brighter days ahead.
