Alfred Morris
Due to our green O-Line his production has suffered but he is an unbelieveable player (an unbelievable 2 star player).

Re: Alfred Morris
But I gotta add, we have to use other recievers better. Now if Jean still only get's single coverage and can beat his guy, than fine. But if doubled or having trouble, we need more than 4 or 6 yard passes to the others to win. if jean is doubled, the other WR's and TE's better get them for 15+ A LOT!

I wouldn't go that far. We can't beat any team, see Nebraska last season, Texas this season. We can't compete with any team in the nation but we should be able to compete with any team in the conference no doubt
My two favorite teams are FAU, and who ever is beating FIU!

Exactly. Two wins over UAB and FIU don't mean we're ready to take down Texas. I mean, sure, there's always an outside outside shot but it's not enough to hang a nail on, let alone anything else. It would still be a feat.
If they had lost to everyone so far - the kind of season Minnesota had when we upset them - then it would be more likely.

Another prime example of only using the "favorite" players each game. I apologize if I am wrong but it seems like we key in on a few players to promote each year instead of promoting the team and allowing EVERYONE to contribute to a win. We have so many diamonds - some that have never been allowed a chance. Way to go OWLS - there were many MVPs last game- hated that only 1 was chosen.

And who would you have start in place of Morris?

Definitely not saying Morris should not start. What I am tired of hearing and seeing from our coaches that we have no chance to win a game. This affects the players. I have been to too many games where our coach have laid down in the 3rd/beginning of the 4th quarter - no matter what the score. MSU as of late. Our call playing also seems to focus on a few people each year. They play no matter what ( hurt lineman last year) , the ball is thrown to them no matter what ( I will never understand why Housler has been given SO many chances. He better know how to catch a ball after 5 years !!. We have 2 other TEs and receivers that you rarely see the ball thrown to. Look how good Lester was Saturday), running the ball no matter what (Blanchard and Floyd deserve a chance). Our QB only seems to throw to the primary receiver - never takes a second look. Just saying, this predictable play calling does not fool anyone. We need DEPTH on our team - can't do that when you only play and play call for only the "chosen ones" and keep giving our players no hope of winnning games. I just don't want to see another season like this one. This was totally preventable and it makes me sick that we have so many players who give their heart and soul to this program and never given the chance they deserve because they are not one of the "chosen" ones by the end of their freshmen year. We need our Coaches to step up and mentor and coach ALL of our players. Just my observations over several years.
We spread the ball around more than most other teams I've ever seen. Honestly I am not sure what you are talking about.
