Why is this kid so special??

The info I found on him has him at 6-0, 165lbs with a 4.8 40 time. That is not good. Am I missing something??

larry blustein seems to like him, saying him and patee were the best verbals (this was a few weeks ago).

I'm wondering more about Miller…. he seems to be descently ranked.

with all due respect to Larry, Woods isn't on the gems of the class Radar Screen…

lets keep in mind all of these kids are highschoolers, we dont know how they will be once they hit d-1.  The competition is a little different.  But i hope that we get some good players….or projected good players

hey i agree with you, I have no idea, I'm up in nyc so the only info I'm going by is you guys, scout, rivals, ect…

its crazy pizzuti isn't even on scout or rivals, nothing at all and espn just has him as a 40 ranking which is a one star.

didn't know that, but not basing anything on whether he played or not…

guy would have been our best sign to date at OL back when he originally commiitted…it was a tough loss that he couldnt qualify…

he is very quick for his size, and is very agile…he will be a tremendous OL in the SBC, and could have gone other places, but wanted to play here close to home…

i think everyone will enjoy watching him play…he has the potential to do some things none of our lineman have had:

dominate at his position…

I don't agree with your statement that none of our lineman have had "Dominate the position"  That is kind of a slap in the face of the O Line that busted there butt's this year and was a big part of a Belt (shared) Championship and a victorious Bowl win. I don't remember seeing to many of our guys getting wasted this year unless I was watching a different team. What I do think is the SBC's choice's for post season conference teams sucked and left out a lot of guys besides the linesman. We should have had at least twenty guys in the post season all conference teams. In my opinion the O-Line and other positions were way off the radar this season. I love th fact that Dawson is an Owl it did hurt when he didn't qualify but he is here now and I'm sure he will fit in nicely.
