I don't agree with your statement that none of our lineman have had "Dominate the position"  That is kind of a slap in the face of the O Line that busted there butt's this year and was a big part of a Belt (shared) Championship and a victorious Bowl win. I don't remember seeing to many of our guys getting wasted this year unless I was watching a different team. What I do think is the SBC's choice's for post season conference teams sucked and left out a lot of guys besides the linesman. We should have had at least twenty guys in the post season all conference teams. In my opinion the O-Line and other positions were way off the radar this season. I love th fact that Dawson is an Owl it did hurt when he didn't qualify but he is here now and I'm sure he will fit in nicely.

i want to add something to my previous post because with all due respect, we have a terrific O-Line…if one was to think back to three years ago and recognize the growth, commradory, and unity that the O line had this past season it truly is remarkable…

i dont and didnt mean to discount their efforts by the statement about Dawson being able to potentially dominate at his position if he signs with FAU…but i do stand behind that assesment of his skills…

the thing that makes our O Line special is that collectively they accomplished some amazing feast with the amount of sacks that they gave up this year…amazing numbers…

i look forward to Joeseph, and others, potentially carrying us to even higher standards in the future…

dont count him out just yet though…kid stuck with it this far…be a shame to not get "there"…

I agree this guy went to a JUCO and could have gone anywhere and stuck by his guns (original commit). You gotta hate the paperworkpart of this.

There was a lot going on behind the scenes in the battle for Amos Wood.

The talented WR signed with FAU, but then Middle Tennessee kept at him, and convinced him he would be a starter right away while he would be redshirted by FAU.

So Wood decommitted and went with the Blue Raiders. That didn’t sit well with The Voice, who pulled out a MTSU roster, saw that only one starter had graduated and that chance of Wood getting that spot was not good.

So The Voice went down to pay a visit. “I chewed him out,” The Voice said. “The Truth. That is all you need to tell.”

The drive was worthwhile, as Wood decided to stay near home and help the Owls.
