Any buses being planned for NON-students?

Definitely not the cheapest deal around.

GO OWLS!!!
If that is $1300 for 2 people, that is actually a pretty good deal considering how expensive the non-stop flights are.

Story in the Sentinel today says $1300 package for two includes tickets, charter flight and travel.

Not a great deal but probably a good time.

seems a bit much to me, we all know u can get a romm for under 100 a night x 2 nights is $200 plus $40 for the ticket x 2 = $80 so $280 plus 2 flights ?? and a cab to and from airport total $100 so $380 from $1,300 is $920, u can for sure get 2 airline tixx for way less, maybe not non stop, but the only nonstop i found was southwest and it was just the return flight and they were like 280 or so.

I heard the same thing. The only problem is you have to sit on the wing and the tickets to the game are given to you on Saturday the 22nd

Re: Any buses being planned for NON-students?

$250 is not a realistic figure…I paid $230 for round trip and I did not find any non-stop flights (considering X-mas is 4 days AFTER the game). If you do not stay at the team hotel, then it would average 'round $120. Throw in a rental car for $60 + 1 game-day tickets = $450. I'm not even figuring food, Owls swag, and other entertainment expenses.

I just don't understand how they're going to book flights unless they charter a plane (which would drive up the cost a bit). I am not sitting on my hands waiting on packaged deals that will be advertised 3-4 days before the game (like what happened with Troy). I made all my arrangements to go last night :)

How much could it cost for the athletic department to charter BUSES for non-students.  If the objective is to encourage as many people, not just current students to make the trip, they should use their contacts to make it a no brainer for alumni and fans as well.  If they did a $100/person package for a game ticket and round trip BUS fare, I am confident that they could fill a few buses.

Is anyone here considering the FAU Alumni chartered flight ($1300 for two) mentioned earlier?

You don't need a rental car in New Orleans….they have trolleys.
