Are we exactly where we should be in this point of the season?

Post

Wow, Minny with 4-0 in one score games already. They have home games vs. Penn. St., Wisconsin, Nebraska, Maryland   They play at Iowa and Northwestern and FCS Rutgers   still. With Bowl game they may very well get to 10 wins. OR they may go 6-6 plus Bowl game.

I feel if they do get to 10 wins he will leave for bigger paycheck! Even at Western Michigan he was quite the jerk!

We could do this transitive stuff all day long.  We literally got just destroyed at home by a team that has lost their last 2 games.  Railroaded.

This Minny game is next year.  Still a lot to focus on this year.  Minny isn't going to be an easy win, not letting the folks who convinced me UCF would be a win this year change my mind.

Let's go win CUSA and come back to this thread next summer when we have literally nothing else to talk about.

Record wise we are where we should be at this point of the season.  But honestly I still don't know if we are actually any good currently with wins over just so so teams.  Gonna be hard to tell the rest of the season as well as we play 2 possibly 3 teams the remainder of the season rated better than 100 out of 130.  If we are in a lot of close games this season then we really aren't that good in the grand scheme of things.  The majority of Conf Usa consists of the absolute worst teams of college football.  Cusa has become the new Mac and Sunbelt of the old days.

I think the least we should do if we want to become a respected program is to run the table constantly in CUSA and win the OCs we are supposed to. We can be a good team in a bad conference, we just need to win convincingly every conference match until it becomes obvious we belong somewhere better. So far, I am confident we can win the East. The team looks more mature than last year, qb and receivers are connecting, our defense is fire, and I think our OL is playing better than expected. If CUSA has many of the worst teams in FBS so be it, we can only control what we do and that should be winning convincingly.

34-7 Minny over Nebraska

#fleckwatch2019 continues! 😂

Could actually make for a fun storyline, both teams finish 10-2 this year, would be a great opening game!

How much longer does Frost last?

There must be a Vegas line on that…

I’m a little surprised at their lack of progress.  But I’m also incredibly surprised UCF has stayed without him.

I think Frost may be in for more than he bargained for there though. He can try to nab some florida players but he excelled being "UCFast" with his offense and he was able to get those players in droves being located here. I think his success goes as his ability to recruit elite speed from SoFLA does. Per 247, only 5 of his 49 recruits in the last 2 cycles were from Florida. Food for thought

After the Marshall debacle, this take is absolutely correct.

We are going to be in a lot of close games the rest of the way out, much like last year (starting to think this is what Lane's FAU football really looks like).  We are a 6-6 program that needs things to go our way in order to win 7/8 and head to bowl.

We don't fix the Oline issue….me thinks going bowling might not be in the holiday schedule.
