Ask the Coach questions...

Ask the Coach questions...

Its hard to forget his performance last year.

Last game did a lot to alleviate my fears but they are still there.

In the end, He led us to victory after we stumbled. That was more tan I saw from him in 2011.

I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick @$$ and I'm out of bubble gum.

I'm not hating on Wilbert, Doc.  I thought he managed the game great (minus two bad throws in the fourth quarter that were typical Wilbert circa 2011).  I'm still in disbelief he's come back from the dead that's all  ;D .  I hope he has a break out year, Doc, I just have to laugh that he's our dude right now.

8)  It's all good. I was just kidding.

I can't believe he's our guy either but I'm glad he stepped in at the half against Wagner and I hope he continues to show us good things on Saturday.

NO ONE could have been successful running that O last year. It was a complete mess from the top down.

Is GW G-d? Why would you capitalize the "H" in "he"?

Re: Ask the Coach questions...

I hate the secrecy because us out-of-towners get zero info at all now.

But when you take over a REAL BAD 1-11 team, you do need every edge you can get. MTSU has little to no idea of what or even who to expect on Saturday , especially on our O and actually on our new D too! let's hope we can take away a win and be 2-0 heading into UGA at Athens!

Who would not love to see FAU in 1st in the Belt on Sunday morning! Go Owls!

GeorgisOwl….We do need all the help we can get. If we can get an advantage by being a little secretive, so be it. Everyone wants wins and has put Coach P in charge…..well let him run the show.If people don't like it , let them whine on a blog somewhere.

This whole "hide what we are going to do" theory is a little bloated for me.  If you are a good football team it doesn't matter if the other team knows what your basic gameplan is…you have to execute the plays.

I am not so sure we are a "good" football team yet, maybe in a another year or two.

GO OWLS!

Re: Ask the Coach questions...

This year was a rush. Next year will be better. But, two years from now will be the big test as to where Coach P can take us. Give him a couple of recruiting classes and then the team will be "his".

Re: Ask the Coach questions...

Next year we'll be much better if we have a QB. I'm not putting any faith in MG3 until we see what he can do. We do get Carter and the kid from Indiana at receiver next year. Carter instantly becomes the best WR in the belt

My two favorite teams are FAU, and who ever is beating FIU!

Yet, you're willing to say Carter will be the best WR in the belt?  The kid from Indiana was also only a 2 star recruit coming out of high school.  Let's be honest, Indiana is comparable to the top two sunbelt teams each season.  Not trying to attack you, just curious as to how you came to that conclusion..
