So the question then is how does one know where you stand?

My wife is an alum. Ive had season tickets since day one, but do not as of yet donate to the owl club.

Is there a chart or graph?

Contact Morgan Cyphers. And if I were you, I would try and take your "points" and merge them with your wife's account, since she is an alumna (more points that way).

And tell your wife to join the FAU NAA too!!

Go Owls!

I'm a proud lifetime member of the FAU National Alumni Association. Are you a member? Join now at www.faualumni.org.

Re: Attendance growth

I know the Owl Club brochure shows the points system on the back, and how many you get for x donation, that will provide you with some insight. I'm sure it's online somewhere.

Join the Owl Club and Join the FAU NAA and get priority for tickets! *

*note: I'm not 100% sure it's that easy

Partly correct… they have a priority points system based on how much you donate to the Owl Club, plus how long you have had season tickets for, plus if you are an alumni, plus a couple other ways to get priority points when getting tickets for the new stadium… basically when the stadium is ready they will go down the list of point holders from top to bottom for seat assignments etc before opening up to the public…

You can actually call the Owl Club and they will be able to tell you how many points you have… the only setback you may find is that I don't believe they accept spousal points - call 'em up and let me know how many points you have….  ;D

here is a link that explains the priority points system… http://fausports.cstv.com/boosters/fau-boosters-priority.html

Re: Attendance growth

Left a message for Morgan.

Ill let you know what she says. Season tickets are in the wifes name anyway so Ill have to check to make sure shes got the 10 bonus points as an alumni.

Curious though, am I in the Owl Club already as a season ticket holder? according to that link we would be.

If so, i want my autographed football from last year.  ;D

I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick @$$ and I'm out of bubble gum.

Re: Attendance growth

You have to donate at least $100 (Burly Owl) each year to be in the Owl Club… that's the list of donation amounts that is on the back of the Owl Club brochure… I need to find out my points too.. I'll post 'em when I get 'em

i met with Schnelly today and there were some budget meetings this morning and this afternoon.  he told me specifically that the stadium will be done for the 2nd saturday in 2010….to host Mich State.  Everything is in line and they are just needing to get the loan.

Now the big rumor is that in the budget meetings the size of the stadium went down.  Open endzones and holds 20,000.  this was what was being talked about in the football office today.

Just a quick note on the stadium questions… isn't Boca supposed to build an I-95 interchange at Spanish River before we can open our stadium??? Just a thought because I work at the T-Rex complex right on I=95 and Spanish River and I see no movement towards an interchange.

Yeah well that's what Boca wants. I read on another messageboard that it's going to be more like 2012 before Boca sees an interchange at Spanish River.

I wonder if they could name it the "FAU/Spanish River Blvd" interchange  ;D

Kinda awkward if you think about it… we're going to be directing people up the ass of the university. They'll be coming in the backside into the R&D park…

But my real question is: will the city of Boca allow us to build or open the stadium if the interchange is not ready?

Also, I just found out I have 42 priority points for FAU stadium seating and season tickets… woohoo!!!!!

Um, is that a lot or am I basically still in the nose bleeds?

Re: Attendance growth

From what I understand, the City of Boca will have a hard time nixing the stadium, it's our land, we can do what we want…but it would be preferrable to have everyone on board before we build something.

Also, don't worry, the stadium we're building won't have nose bleeds for 30 years!

We do not need their permission, it's state land.
