Call Bobby Jo Belus and she will tell you who the check goes to. 561-297-6720.

I 100% agree with the idea of getting existing members, along with new members, to pay the $100. I am an existing member and I have no problem paying the money. With the purchase of the ball, current Owl Club members will receive double priority points. Priority points determine what "rank" you are when it comes to season tickets/priority tickets in the new stadium.

For example, at the school I work for now, University of Texas at San Antonio, the Roadrunner Club gives priority points to donors, season ticket holders, etc. and how many times/years you have given to the program. What's the advantage? We are hosting the NCAA Final Four this year and those that are highest on the list get first shot at NCAA tickets.

Start donating, buying season tickets and getting priority points now! Because in 3 years when the stadium opens, you'll want to have all those points so you can get the best seats in the house.

Re: Autographed Footballs for Owl Club Members

Smitty,

You are right, there are incentives to donating and it is a model most colleges follow.

However, having worked with a college athletics department myself, the athletics or fundraising department places cold calls, sends out mass emails, fax blasts, includes this in media guides, etc trying to cultivate donations and also educating current and prospective donors about the incentives.

I had no idea about the signed footballs until I read it on here.

WHY? PLEASE SOMEONE TELL ME WHY IT HAS TO BE LIKE THIS??

Re: Autographed Footballs for Owl Club Members

Agree,

And why oh WHY havent they started some sort of an incentive program to be a Season Ticket holder to get in on the ground level on the Stadium?

Or hell ANY incentive program to become a season Ticket Holder. Send out a free BLUE FAU shirt to each season ticket holder. They shoot Tshirts into the stands why not reward those who are loyal?

If what we need are butts in the seats, lets sweeten the deal. They have a perfect opportunity RIGHT NOW. Bowl exposure, Media Exposure, NATIONAL TV AUDIANCE as the only game in town. Is anyone in atheltics and or marketing making the most of this? Cant say this enough, MUST strike while the iron is hot!

I certainly hope season ticket holders will get first shot at where they want to sit in the new stadium. Ive been around the same group of people for 7 years, and weve all discussed that we want to sit next to each other once the staidum gets done. It should be done as a marketing campaign. "By becomeing a Season Ticket holder you will get priortiy on picking your seats for the new stadium"

I hope they have the blueprint for things like that to get done.

Love your ideas, but lets be real, FAU has 1,600 season ticket holders, we are going to have a 30k seat stadium, if they do what they say and give prior season ticket holders preferential treatment, we will all be on the 50 yard line.

I LIKE where your going with that!  ;D

But that would be the point, DRIVE those seats up with a offer/incentive. Its not every day one has the opportunity to get in on the ground floor.

Re: Autographed Footballs for Owl Club Members

Don't know if this is true, but I think season ticket holders are earning priority points by buying season tickets.

Re: Autographed Footballs for Owl Club Members

Actually, I already made the call back when we got the approval. As of right now, all season ticket holders will have no problem getting a nice regular seat. Where it could get a little tricky and points will be important, is if you want a club level seat. There is only going to be a small amount of these club level seats, so if you want one, you need to make sure you have a lot of points. Furthermore, once you get your club seats you will have them for life as long as you keep renewing your season tickets...
