Beer to be sold during 2014 season at FAU

Post

How many places do the students or others have access to get into the Premium seating areas? And is it really that difficult to stop access to those who have not paid for it? Just honest questions as I for one do not know.

@owl2doc. …..I am not concerned if it ruins an experience.I am really only concerned with me and my families or friends experience. The amount of people walking in without paying for the benefits devalues the section. They can do what they want. I am simply bringing to light a problem. I wish all of the schools problems were this easy to correct.

I am far less concerned with the beer issue as I am with FAU's inability to control access to the Hyundai section. I feel like I pay for the right to the benefits and yet there are more people getting in for the price of a standard ticket
FAU checks tickets all the time for that section before letting them up. What else do they need to do, go person to person every quarter during the game and ask to see their tickets? That would ruin the experience IMO

Do you seriously not know how it works?  Over half the people on the deck don't have tickets for that area. A 5 year old can figure out how to get into the deck.

GO OWLS!

This is sweet. Get a ticket to sit in Hootville, move down to visitors sideline with beer. The study of law WILL allow this.

Not sure what you are talking about, I was pointing out the obvious.

Apparently I need to explain it.

Dusky…thoughts on a wristband for the deck? So you come in get your ticket scanned at the gate and then hole punched at the stairs before getting a wristband. No one in the deck without a wristband and only one band per ticket? Seems logical enough.

I feel the same way, if I pay more I'd like to know it was worth it.

That, or they start doing beer delivery drones!

I don't even think you need to do that….ticket gets punched when you walk up the steps…if you leave the deck you need a wrist band to get back in.  Can't re-enter with a punched ticket and no wrist band.  Too much to ask to get everyone wrist bands upon entry.

The Hyundai Deck discussion has nothing to do with beer sales in the rest of the stadium, it has to do with the benefits that were sold to us when we made our 1,3 or 5 year commitments.  They just can't assume that we are going to re-up and pay more if they don't protect the product and provide benefits that someone who is purchasing these tickets would expect.
