I'm a little surprise Frantz Joseph isn't on this list. I thought he had a hell of a season. 3rd on the team in tackles in 11 games. Seemed like whenever you looked on the field when the defense was there if there was a big tackle Joseph was right there

My two favorite teams are FAU, and who ever is beating FIU!

What hurt Joseph case was he was pretty much an unknown before the season started. He was one of several players that struggled during spring & fall to find their groove, but once he did he became a dominate player on the field.

Just think how much better he will be next year. As a unit the defense should (will) be solid. It will interesting how they continue to develop and how they will play against Alabama, Kentucky, USF, Minnesota & Florida. They may very be able help keep these game from being blown-out next year. And what is define as a blow out, loss by more then 30 or 20 points.

So, when does spring practice start??

Alabama isn't on the schedule…but Georgia may be on the schedule in the next few years if they can ink it…

The others will be alot more competitive than this year's OOC games…i honestly believe we can upset one…

I the players should be more prepared as a team and know what to expect on the get go next year, so you would hope that they will provide a more competitive game.

They are still some questions to be answered on offense during the off season, we be interesting what develops.

I for one think that there will be some suprises at o-line...and if we get Edgecomb back from the land of "bad grades" we should be ok with the running game...manley showed some good improvement...Pierre, well, not going there right now...unless someone opened a hole big enough for a truck to run through, he pretty much ran into the lineman, or got snuffed out quickly...he needs to learn to "create" a little better when the play blows...

Sometimes Pierre needs to let the play develop, he was at time to anxious, but when he delayed his move he allowed for the running lanes to open or at least make a chance of direction where nothing develop. He is not a great back, but effecient enough, combined with a good passing game, which was way to inconsistent all year, to be effective. Sanchez could have been used more effectively, IMO. And the TE's ??? Then again the TE did nothing to help themselves, hopefully we have some Freshsies in the wing that will step-up next year.

Florida_Owl what kind of surprises are you referring to, good, bad, share your thoughts. Hutton seems to think that is still so so for us. I disagree, I feel we will have enough experience and depth to be in decent shape on the O-Line.

The thing with the OL next year will be how the younger guys that will need to step in and fill the holes that where created, depth will be a big issue if the injury bug start to hit the line.

Even thought we have some very good players, unproven, waiting to what they can do - how will they handle the complexity of the offense. The tough OCC games will again become extended camp practices for these younger guys. And we know how volatile the OL can be with this offensive scheme. The OL will be another work in progress again prime for 2008.
