Not even pessimistic. I'd say 6-6 is still optimistic, especially since you were talking about going 6-6 "without the right guy behind center" implying that we'd have a dud QB who was still able to bumble us into a post-season game  ;D

That'd be like Graham Wilbert leading us to the New Orleans Bowl.

That's what this program needs at head coach right now.  Telling people that we are for sure going to lose all "advance training games" didn't work.

Let's get the players to believe the same thing!

Winning 6 games would be a great turnaround.  I'd like to see us comptete vs the BCS programs.  I dont mind losing as much as I hate not competing. 

Well, ALL of this really hinges on a QB showing up in the fall. We've got 2 freshman that are spread QBs, 2 RS Sophs (who haven't been in a spread O in 3 years) and an anoited savior who still has to get his AA this spring in order to get to FAU.

I feel pretty good about MG3 being the new QB coming in, IF he gets here.

If he doesn't…someone is learning on the job and I think that hurts us big time. Like 3 wins big time.

The best news, I think our defense will be ridiculous. Our secondary is the best part of this program right now with the Juco guys we've got coming in, which only helps our linemen and LBs getting to the QB. If we can put up more than 14 a game, we win a bunch.

With the quality freshman wr's coming in (Glinton and Gilchrist) German should have plenty on reason to gets that AA and get here. As I posted, with five Belt teams losing half or more of their secondaries, we are gonna be trouble on O this coming year!

Cute, just noticed the last name of all three start with G! Gotta come up with a killer name guys!

We have some nice additions on the O-line. Some can play right away. Hopefully we get the QB position resolved as well. If those two things come through, combined with a talented defense, and what should be a solid run game, I have no reservations in seeing minimum 6 wins and as many as 8 wins next year.
