Im I the only one that hopes the Big East picks Nova and TCU?  I think that If UCF goes to Big East then we will stuck down in the belt forever.  That would also mean Florida Atlantic and FIU would be the ONLY schools in Florida not in a AQ conference.  THAT WOULD REALLY SUCK!!!  :-[  And I think it would  be like that fore a long time.

Regardless of UCF's decision, FAU and FIU will always be in a non AQ conference, unless the BCS comes up with some sort of playoff system. But at least if UCF leaves C-USA, FAU will have an opportunity to play in a better league, giving us a better shot a the national title.

I disagree with the "always" part.  Just look at how much has changed in the college football landscape in the last 10 and 20 years.  I believe big changes are in the future for college football conferences and the BCS and FAU just needs to make sure they are prepared when it happens.  Until then CUSA would be fine with me for awhile.

As I read it we have about 18 months to get the Big East to change its mind.  ;D

Oh yea!!!!  #23 in Coaches poll and #25 in AP.  Feels great and it's just getting better.  We will be in the teens by the end of the year.

No, not a chance in YOUR lifetime will the owls ever be ranked of playing in a BCS conf.  By the way, I thought FAU was supposed to be playing for a national championship by now and be playing in a BCS conf?  What happened? 

No school will ever be in a BCS conference and win a championship in the first 9 years of existence. We have as much of a chance of winning a national championship as you do! Even if you do go to the Big East

The coach informed everyone that FAU will be playing for a NC and be in a BCS conf. by 2009.
