Blue & Red Colors Question

Blue was always our #1 color. Do schools ever change their primary color?

Some do, my old High school, went from Blue and Gold to Black and Gold. Blue was always the primary color. Wasnt real happy bout that one.

I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick @$$ and I'm out of bubble gum.

Blue & Red Colors Question

I have no problems with an alternate color, but for a young program I can see the benefit of sticking to one primary color.

I think that we should let each coaches have some flexibility and give them a little freedom to do something different.

Blue & Red Colors Question

Maybe it's just me, but I don't see how difficult it is to design something unique with the same color scheme as everyone else! If we wanted coaches to choose one of two colors, then we should have chosen a two-color scheme. I mean, do UF ever wear orange as their main color, except on special occasions?

I don't care what UF does, maybe you do. My point is that many universities have used one color for Football and one for BBall for home games. If I have to I will research it and post references but I think most of you know what I am describing.

Blue & Red Colors Question

As long as we don't go the route of many schools and throw black in the mix, I will be happy. Too many schools have gone away from standard colors and gone with black uniforms at home. Louisville and Maryland are just two examples.
