Bowl projections as of November 26, 2017

CBS Sports                FAU vs. USF                            Thurs, December 19         St. Petersburg Bowl
ESPN Bonogura          FAU v. San Diego St.                Sat, December 16            New Mexico Bowl, Albuquerque
ESPN Hale                 FAU v. San Diego St.                Sat, December 16            New Mexico Bowl, Albuquerque
SBNation                   FAU vs. USF                            Tues, December 19          Boca Raton Bowl
CFN                          FAU vs. USF                            Thurs, December 19         St. Petersburg Bowl
Sports Illustrated       FAU vs. Northern Illinois           Fri, December 22             Bahamas Bowl, Nassau

If FAU wins Saturday, I do not see FAU selecting the New Mexico Bowl.  So I don't think the ESPN guys are thinking that through.

Of that I would pick Bahamas - good for players, more practices and winnable!

SD St. and Penny - NO!

I do not believe going to the Bahamas bowl would help our recruiting at all.  I would really hope for a bowl game against USF because that would give us a chance to beat teams outside of our conference and not just the MAC.

If it was any other coaching staff I would say to be conservative and go for an easier win but keep in mind, last years conference usa champ (WKU) played in the boca raton bowl.  If we have a chance to do better than that and pay a better team we should do it.

Additionally, if we lost other AD's would look at Kiffin as a prospect coach in a year or two, giving us more time with him.

Brett mcmurphy is reporting UAB will be going to Nassau. So cross that off the list

Even if we lose to NT, which isn’t going to happen, we would get 2nd choice and there is ABSOLUTELY ZERO chance we would pick the Bahama Bowl.

These sports sites don’t analyze CUSA bowl options so don’t bother.

Every team gets 15 practices no matter when they play.
Also many do not like the Bahamas many of the players family and fan cannot go to due logistic and expense.

I'd luv a shot at the most historically overrated team in college football.  Any guesses? Yep, ND. I know it's not going to happen but it would be awesome!

If you are referring to Notre Dame, they have some of the best academics and athletics in the country, and I believe they have one of the most difficult schedules in the country. I do not see other teams playing consistently tough schedules, I know they aren't always undefeated and I know that is because they always play top tier schools and don't schedule garbage games like many other schools do such as FSU who is thankful they had an easy schedule this year to get to 6-6.

How’d that Miami game go?  Statistically speaking they are at the top for most overrated, it’s just a fact. So is FSU and TX. Difference is ND hasn’t won the National Championship sine 88’, FSU has won three since then and TX has one.

I am a Miami fan and I am glad they won, I'm just trying to give them credit because they have strength of schedule playing teams like Univ Miami, USC, Stanford, Michigan state, and Georgia back to back weeks towards the end of their schedule they start to either get beat up or tired so that is just my statement I wanted to make.
