I liked it too… Im not very impressed with the people doing the branding. One thing im sure of is no matter that they decide on it will eventually grow on all of us.

They release the logos today....

18 months, 4000 participants and that is what they decided on. I am disappointed, it is soooo 3rd grade looking. FAU drops the ball on this one. :P

I do like the wave in the letters. But maybe it's just because the owl logos are so bad..

Just reviving an old thread… I had emailed the dept a few days ago wondering if they had any plans for spiceing up our web page banner… still no reply… I feel that our banner STINKS, it urks me everytime I log on do to its unprofessionalism. Maybe its just the logo and its lack of detail… Im still pondering….

Yea.. I really like FIU's logo….

I think our owl head looks a little cheap compared to the logos of other teams. I like how the others have the action in the background whether it is sports teams or fans. GO OWLS!!!

that is my point exactly.. seems we used the old cut and paste method... hopefully they have some graphic arts people working on an improved banner
