There is no doubt recruiting in florida is important, but to overload on coaches who can recruit florida would be over doing it. We need to keep some of our current coaches for continuity. Usually one is kept but given the last four games it would be a very wise and well received move by Coach Partridge to keep at least one coach on offense and defense if not 3 or more. He can certainly bring in his key people but there are plenty of coaching positions to retain some of the current coaches and bring in some new great coaches who can recruit florida.

No time to waste. We got us a head coach and it's time to load up. I'd hate to see a regression (rebuilding) from this season.

I like the idea of Diaz. Although he is a guy that should be more in the HC discussion than a coordinator position, especially at FAU. Granted the Texas defense is not what it used to be. However, Diaz has name recognition and is probably still recognized as a real solid up and comer.


I would love to see Wright to stay, especially since we hired a defensive guy. Seems unlikely though as Partridge will want to create his team and keeping Wright may cause some tensions in terms of player loyalty. Ideally though, Wright would be kept on as OC and Assistant HC.

Is anyone worried this isn' true? what if its all wrong? there hasn't been anything that has come from the school itself..

Can anyone confirm if there is a news meeting tomorrow or an official announcement coming? 

Not worried that it's not true.  There's been no press conference announced but Dieter says it'll likely be tomorrow or Tuesday in this interview.
