Rick and Guest know I am right here yet they do not want to admit it because it bothers them to much.owl in training said
OC mentioned more than just Dukes. Where there improvements in the rest? The talent is there. Doesn't appear to be off the field issues. So what's the problem? I think all can agree that there has been questionable play calling and no halftime adjustments.Rick said

If I came on here and said the sky was blue they would fight me on it.
Both have admitted to not liking me personally despite me not having a problem with them.
In the end its football talk.....

I knew him personally (had him in like two classes. Bs electives) he had a son during the summer going into his senior yr and was going through a tough time family wise his entire senior yr. Hope he's doing well I haven't had a conversation with him in a long time but it's a shame he couldn't make it to the league. He looked like a sure bet after his Sophomore year.

You're on overly negative person who says the same thing over and over every day, and never lives up to the mission of what TON is here for. You also make everything public, as if your campaigning. Case in point, you take something I sent to you in a private e-mail and put it here in an attempt to gain everyone's sympathy. Class act, and not appreciated. But, since you like everything public, there it is.
That aside, bottom line, this is a FAN site. I'll remind you of the definition once more:
A fan, sometimes also called aficionado or supporter, is a person who is enthusiastically devoted to something or somebody, such as a band, a sports team, a genre, a book or an entertainer.
They may show their enthusiasm in a variety of ways, such as by promoting the object of their interest, being members of a fan club, holding or participating in fan conventions, or writing fan mail. They may also engage in creative activities ("fan labor") such as creating fanzines, writing fan fiction, making memes or drawing fan art.
I'm not seeing anything you do on TON listed in the above definition of what a fan is. In fact, you are the opposite. You are an antagonist, a critic, a highly negative source of energy that is very taxing to deal with. So much so that we had to block you from our social platforms because you undermine the goal and objective of the site. Myself, students and others who run the accounts post positive material which you then "argue" with and take shots against.
Ridiculous.

I am supposed to smile and just take it?
When people show apathy that's when they aren't fans anymore.
Im sorry I don't pretend that's things are ok.
We can go 0-11 for three years in a row and find a QB in Antarctica and you're over there talking about how bright the future is.
I'm sorry I don't pretend to make myself fall asleep at night.
Also let me ask you Rick when's the last then you bought season tickets to a FAU sport or donated to the OSF fund?
Please don't ever question my fandom.
Come ask me what type of fan I am as i sat through a lighting delay to watch is blow it to rice.
Next when i make road trip game number 11 and 12 next year (After 10 FAU away games I have been to I have seen us win twice) again please tell me I am not a fan.
I don't care what I drag into public you are just a stubborn as I am, but you you refuse to admit that despite you might not like what I post that I have really never done anything wrong.
Also again you have not answered my question of why Wright should keep his job?
This is why I have to repeat myself.
See what also is negative all the time is if you take the amount of wins FAU has had under Charlie (6) and subtract the amount of loses (18) that gives you a negative number.
So yea football is negative all the time. Why aren't you mad at them?
You want to answer my questions or you just going to post something from dictionary.com or more sight rules and regulations?
I'm sorry if my passion for FAU has hurt anyone on this forum, but what I say is what I feel is best for the program that I love.

This is my FINAL response to you, then we are finished engaging here as well.
I have attended FAU events as a member of the media for the last five years, I don't need tickets. Prior to that I was a men's basketball season ticket holder and purchased football tickets as well.
Thousands, and thousands of dollars brought in by this site has gone to students as paid internships, and continues to. I have never collected a dime from operating this site, but have given 20-30 hours per week religiously for years.
Don't ever go here with me again, or you will be gone. Membership here is a privilege, not a right, and you are now treading on very thing ice by crossing the line into personal commentary with me.
Clear?
Good.

When you got blocked conversation started on the board again. We were talking about the problems with various views of what needs to be done. When you attack anyone with a contrary view it kills conversation. If you had a more rational approach you may have been able to convince some people to accept your point of view, but you come off as a loon.

OC40 you are wrong. I don't hate you. I don't know you personally and if I did I still would not hate you. You are exasperating for everything Rick has said above. Not sure what you paying $600 for season tickets means anything, when almost everyone on here pays the same if not more. We care, just because we are not acting like spoiled children doesn't mean we care less.

The only thing loon on this forum is anyone who just shrugs their shoulders and accepts Brian Wright.
I also tried to have a convo
When I said " why should we keep Wright'' posted stats regarding where we have been with him as a coach then posted an article of almost and exact situation that we are in now of an in school and still no one responded.
No its just posts about how I am being negative.

I wish Coach P would cut him loose now and bring in a more aggresive and resourceful OC to put POINTS on the board not just yards.
But also I look at how many games we have lost games late becuase the O can't even move the ball into FG position when that is all we need let alone score a TD. MANY MANY times over the past 2 years.
Our freinds and rivals from Marshall think our O AND OC are a joke, and they should know, we have NEVER beaten them nor even scored more than 23 vs. their D.
Even though they are frustrating, I hope you do continue to support the Owls as you do! Blind optimism is no beter than heavy negativity!
