Brian Wright exit near??

Post

He'll get a HC gig even if Miami goes a different direction. He's a proven winner. That UGA even let him go was strange.

He wouldn't come here, no way.

Be awesome but yeah.

Haha, come here for a stadium?

Miami is paying him $4m a year.  That is 8x what we pay our HC.  8x!!!!!!

That would be the equivolent of me leaving my job to work construction on the Costa Rica highways.

I appreciate that we are all FAU homers…but some of us need to realize, these coaches care about thier salary and bonus's.  Not to mention Miami paying thier assistants more and being in the ACC.

Teambeer is the most knowledgeable FAU sports fan I know, way smarter than me.

Not to mention we do NOT have a coaching vacancy, no matter what anyone's opinion is.

They have highways now?

I went there many moons ago and did nothing but return rental cars (3 of them) for a week, and navigated pot holes. Was very similar to a video game!

Sorry for the derail, back to topic!

Im thinking next head coaching contract whether new or renewal will be in the 600-700k range.

Wow another tie to Schnellenberger. They should definitely be on upset alert next year

I kinda think he might struggle next year. THEIR style and "culture" are very far from Mark Richt. I can see in the next yeat 20 or so players leave. If that happens they will have to rebuild their depth some to fit HIS program.

The U IS NOT what it was when he played there, neither in style or class or even playing ability. If they were Golden would still be there. Heck they don't even play REMOTELY close to campus, at least the Orange Bowl was kinda close!

I just want to beat them, so hopefully he takes awhile to settle in.

Want to beat everybody in Florida at least once. That's another reason the close Florida loss stung.

Could have had FIU, USF and UF down
Just needed to beat FSU and UCF (the latter of which hopefully will happen next season)

I wonder if Richt steals Jason Eason (Tony's son) away from UGA? May free up a QB recruit for us.
