2.  QB coach Jared Allen?  Probably not enough coaching experience, but one day….

I was hoping he would stay a little longer, the guy was instrumental in the off-season working with the QB's especially VanCamp….just look at the results.

Can't blame the guy thought, we got him for a steal (caught a break) and we did benefit.

Certainly can't blame the guy.  I'm sure he's getting a hefty raise and he gets to work with a bunch of his former co-workers from UL.  As for FAU, I'm sure we'll be OK at his position.  There are lots of good coaches out of work these days and I'm sure we'll get a good one to replace Brohm.  I just wish we'd address the biggest problem on this team which is the D.  Obviously Coach isn't going to let Hoza go, although I certainly think the results of the past 3 seasons warrent that.  With a lot of big time programs letting coaches go these days, I wonder if we could snag a guy or two to come in for a year like Brohm to coach the linebackers or secondary.  

I don't blame him either. It's about money and we just don't have any.

I'm more concerned with how it will impact recruiting. Sometimes great players will come to a school because their position coach had played in the NFL and "knows how to get there." Most of the QBs we are looking at are 3 star guys, which is great to see, but whether we can land them now that Brohm is leaving… hard to say, especially since we don't have a stadium yet. At least the land will be cleared for the stadium when recruits take official visits in January.

Illini D gave up 102 points in last two games and they made him fire four offensive coaches?

With same D, Zook will be gone sometime next year!

Sorry Coach Brohm, but your O better put up 60 points a game if you are gonna keep your job there. And your QB (Juice Williams) is out of eligibility too, who ya gonna play because they got no field time this year with him still there.
