BTW, it really bugs me to hear coaches' comments about how the team will try, but that it is such a tough feat, and almost how they expect to lose. That can't help morale, and neither can pulling the starters in the third quarter, or not going for 2 when there is even the slightest chance to win.

I dont agree anymore with the bolded. The reason we are continuously in this process of starting from scratch is because we dont get the younger players in these game.

Now Im not saying that if the score at half is 21-14 that we should pull the starters. If were within 3 scores we are still "In" the game. However if its 41-17 in the third quarter, I say we REALLY treat it like a traning game and get the 2nd and 3rd stringers in there. We have to start getting players playing time and these body bags are the games to do it in.
