A lot of solid teams too. Everyone hates on the MAC, but the MAC consistently outperforms the SBC against BCS competition.

Remember when UCF thought the MAC was weak and that they would dominate so they joined?? They ended up getting smoked.

In fairness the MAC is usually playing the little 10…meanwhile we are usually playing the Stomp Everyone Conference.  UCF sucks, they can't compete with anyone, MAC or otherwise.  I hope FIU stomps them in the next couple years.

Which reminds me…how the heck did FIU get a home and away 4 game series with Louisville when our ENTIRE staff has Louisville connections??

I remember a time when NIU beat Alabama as well as a ranked Maryland team in the same season. Neither of those are from the "Little 10." We can go back and forth on this all the time, and seemingly do, but what stands out is even against BIGTEN opponents the MAC has more success than the SBC. Unfortunately we do not see many MAC and SBC head to head matchups. Last year FAU beat CMU while Bowling Green beat Troy. At best it is a toss-up, but I still think year in and year out the MAC is a stronger conference.
