I think one more is realistic.  Unfortunately, I think we have a culture of losing with this staff.  Changing a culture with the same leadership is a very tough task.

They will need the young talent to develop and just flat out outplay the opponents in order to win.  I dont see that happening this year.

As I said before most optimistic reality based scenario 5 wins for the season beating  UTEP,FIU, MT, and OD, . More likely 4 UTEP, Old Dominion and either MT or FIU.

The only way we get to 6 is to upset W. Kentucky or Florida which is VERY unlikely at this point. If somehow we do get to 6 we will get a bowl game because of existing CUSA bowl commitments.

Could we upset W. Kentucky? It would mean likely we turned around our season at UTEP and then beat FIU. At 3-5 you have a different different team morale than 1-5. It would be still be a massive uphill slog.

Can we go to a bowl game…ask me November 8th.
