They sould way more tickets, and the damn thing was in there backyard.
FAU had to travel, and lodge yet made 4K!
I know we went on the cheap, but this is just insanity.
Be thankful our administraiton is cost concious.

I get some flack for "defending" FAU Athletics administrators a lot. And initially, I got flack for defending their decision to not bring the band, cheer and dance teams in full capacity.
At the MCB, and I'm not saying that the reason why CMU is $64k in the hole is because of the squads, CMU had what appeared to be a full squad there.

FAU's dicision sucked, but it had to be done that way.
CMU had to of gone ALL out and invited, lodged and travelled everyone in the adminstration down to the janitor for them to loose that much.

It just goes to show that unless your name is Florida or Texas, your job isn't to make money but try to come out even.

SoCar has to be SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than Michigan. They don't need to fly, I understand they still need to pay for a bus. They can find a cheap hotel if booked early enough. I booked my hotel in December before Christmas. I know us Dirty Birds and a bunch of guys from DTD fraternity an Crash Taylor are all staying at the Rodeway Inn which for 2 nights came to $122 including tax.
I'm not saying the band should stay there but they can probably find something cheap and close to the stadium. Our hotel is 2.5 miles away from the stadium
My two favorite teams are FAU, and who ever is beating FIU!

I feel bad for anyone that's not going to the SoCar game that's staying at that Rodeway Inn between DTD and the Dirty's we'll be having a good time. I hope we take over that entire hotel

This trip would be LOW budget if it happens. That means get on the bus, play the game, go home.
Regardless of what happens with the band I think I'll be making the the trip there this year. It might be the only away game we make this year.
