I don't think Angelos will stick around to be an AD for a DII program.
The whole thing stinks no matter which way you look at it.
The letters, we were told, were addressed to the BoT. Not to any member in particular. At least that is how I addressed mine. Someone, Brogan or Grossman will have to emphisis the letters in the meeting. I just hope there was a big enough response to put some weight on those letters.

The letters where sent to the Chief of Staff, Director of Boards Operations.
The purpose of the letters was to get a joined effort that created a voice that was coming outside of athletics, like I mentioned before, this project has been a driven effort mostly coming from athletics in the form of Angelos and thus the reason for the letters. The BOT feel as if it is being force down their throath only for athletic reasons, again why I ask posters to include other reason as to why the innovation Viilage was good for the University as a hole. Grossman is one voice and one vote. Like Owldaylong mentioned academics & athletics have always butted heads since the beganning.
We could very well lose Angelos if we stay status quo, without the dome. Again, the delay could be good (then again who really knows), in that it will give the BOT more time, hopefully not get distracted with other issues, this is a very big project that should be given the time it rightly deserves.
We can only remain positive that our letters can make a difference.

most of the time I am not expressing opinion but rather facts as what was said in meetings; opinions I have shared are usually shared by others in the department…I thought people on this board would find that very interesting….when these are attacked it can get rather frustrating and from my perspective a little goofy :PBytor said
Just remember Owldaylong, having a different opinion is what drives these boards and like CanadianOwl mentioned, some people like to ruffle others feathers once in a while - you need to develop a thick skin when you post on these type of forum boards and stay true to your convictions.

Don't get fustrated, not really worth it and take the reaction for what it is - goofy as it may seem.
