Coach P talks about being tough on the field and off

I love blog post here, and talk coming out Coach P's mouth. I think the message is getting through.

This attitude adjustment will be the thing that gets wins. I saw immediate improvement with the same players when the Pelinis took over at Nebraska. We fans of the Coach P system have seen this pay off. All will be well at FAU.

Re: Coach P talks about being tough on the field and off

I am excited with our opportunities now (being left out of the CUSA - too bad). Our new members have better names and will be good but they will also be good for us hopefully in the win dept. too! Three new FCS programs moving in (S. Bama this year) gives Coach P and the team a better chance to improve the team record and build confidence in his ways.

Besides, CUSA without UCF, SMU, Houston and Memphis IS NOT THE SAME, they lost all the bigger draws to Boca if that had ever happened. Other than ECU and S. Miss. now who would be a good draw to a home game?

By the way, when does fall practice start - GO OWLS!

Agree.

Your "Average" college football fan sees no incentive to come to a FAU vs "XXXX" team from CUSA/MWC/WAC/MAC. None of them entice those fans.

Now if you bring in a team from the "power 6" (Michigan, Miami, etc etc.) that has name value THAT will bring in Joe Blow who likes football, not because they want to see them play FAU, they just want to see them play and they are in the area.

Boise State is probably the loan exception to this rule as they have done so well.

I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick @$$ and I'm out of bubble gum.
