I think Chun was on the right track too when he talked about "improving the gameday experience." Big changes often come from a number of little changes… the relocated Rat's Mouth, for instance, is the first piece.

You know the difference between Ohio State students tailgating and getting fired up for the game and FAU students doing the same?

Nothing. (maybe a few thousand people, but the excitement is the exact same)

That's part of the experience, it was a great move bringing the students closer. Athletics is a work in progress as a whole, we will start seeing VAST improvements by the end of the year and by next year, when staff is in place, they'll be blowing us away…it won't be hard to do, no one has tried before!

I think that's one of the most amazing things about FAU, the little success we've had thus far, is almost by dumb luck because the deck sure was stacked against us…now that we're starting to get resources, we have a President that's dedicated and understands that football is the door to the university and will do what it takes to get us where we need to be. We've got an AD with VISION and a coach that might have what it takes, just wait.
