A Texas Tech offense would be nice as well.

The good thing is the offense has a vey important year under their belt, what will be interesting to see is what develops with the QB's during the off season - are we going to start another freshman or unproven player as a starter, I don't think schennlly will do that again unless someone truely seperates themselves from Rusty or Clayton during the off season.

Anthony Middleton

We have a very legit shot at this guy, and i personally think, based on his comparison to Crissinger-Hill that he could have the same type of impact for us IMMEDIATELY…ie, start as a RS Freshman…check this out:

Hill 6-3, 205…4.8 40

Middleton 6-5 215/220…4.8 40

Middelton put up big numbers last year in a mostly run oriented offense…he has great agility…is very athletic…and is smart at his position…i would ceratinly give him apples to apples with Hill…put him in FAU's current Prostyle, and emulate what they did with Hill (match him up against a linebacker in the zone) = good stuff for the passing game!

Just a thought…we will wait and see what the spring signing day holds in store…

What would truely help the TE's become effective, is if Holley & Simeon could bcome the deep threat guys we desperately need, it would spread the defense out and make for some one man coverages form the LB's positions.

The problem has been to much inconsistent play from to many people on offense. I think that things will improve and the QB play should also be an improvement regardless, may not lead to an explosive offense, butmore consistent, creating more scoring chances on offense, thus our point scored per game average should increase. There was an increase from a year ago.
