Anyway, I like his size. Here's his shot at FAU to make the others regret for backing off.

Nice size linemen in the group.
The Chris Laz comparison is too funny. Same mold as Chris? 6'2 190??

if he plays anything like Chris and he adds a little extra pounds this guy could be dangerous.
I still like the TE - Holton great pick-up.
Looks like we pick-up some great athletes - signing day is just around the corner.

Some people might not understand that Troy has thousands of Florida alumni and students, especially from the central and northern portions of the state. Troy is only a couple of hours north of Fort Walton/Panama City.
Troy had more Florida players last year than any other non-Florida university. It fares well among players in the panhandle and northern sections, and has gotten a few kids from South Florida during the past few years (One of its major running back prospects from Belle Glade was expelled last year for his alleged part in firing a gun in retaliation for being shot at … Drive-bys are a real rarity up there).
This year so far, Troy has two good commitments from Fort Myers.

Troy have an excellent record for getting Fla Talent. The one you guys just got from Bartow is a steal. The kid is not too bad. You will continue to do well on the running game with him as lead. Kenny The Cat, will appreciate him.. ;D

Cathouse ("Catoose") is supposedly the real deal as a RB. He was New Jersey's all-time leading risher. I don't understand why the coaches burned his red shirt by inserting him in a few games (including FAU), though.
D.T. McDowell is going to amaze people at QB. I hope some good receivers can be recruited.
Word is, Troy has a lot of linemen ready to step in and lots of defensive players (including a couple of great ones from Georgia) have been targeted and have committed.
I've been posting a lot about basketball season, especially when it comes to the UCF-Troy rivalry. The rubber game is this Friday night (7:30 p.m.) on CSS TV. I'm still in football withdrawl, but it was great to be at the bowl game - regardless of how nasty the weather was.
Someone on the Troy board accused me recently of being an FAU fan! I've got your back there.
