Congratulations to the Owls!  Way to represent the SBC.  Can't put a price on the exposure y'all got last night.  Hopefully we'll get a series going soon.

That's what Coach wants to do but another UCF poster on here said you're booked through 2011.

"With the exception of the three-game series with Texas, UCF Athletic Director Keith Tribble has successfully moved the Knights out of the two-for-one and "buy game" situations that UCF no longer desires with its own on-campus venue to fill.

…Though UCF would like to look into continuing the South Florida series after it ends next season, Tribble said he is also interested at adding state teams like FIU, FAU and even Florida State to the schedule."

Congrats on your win tonight. You were able to win the special teams portion of the game and turned it into a win. Enjoy your off season. Now comes the part that all winning non BCS schools dislike. Waiting to see which BCS school is going to come with a handful of money after the coach.

One thing I am worried about though. I know Rusty has been getting alot of accolades for his passing yards this year. But if anyone hadn't noticed, the receiving corp has improved immensely. Why? New receivers coach, Darryl Jackson. Don't be surprised if he starts getting offers. It wouldn't take much to top his modest little FAU salary.

Great point illinois.  I had completely forgotten about Jackson.  Hopefully we can hang on to him for another year or two.  Our young receivers really have prospered under him.  It's unfortunate for some of them that we are so deep at the position, but with Gent, Bonner, and Johnson only being juniors next year, how much pt will holley, jean, darrien williams, etc. get?  Maybe we can convert one of them to db, where we need a little help.  darrien williams, at 6'3 200 could make the transition.

We have one or more openings from 2008 on.  O'Leary has said he'd like to play two Florida schools a year.  I guess we'll see what happens.

Alrighty. I know we're booked in 2008… there was an opening to play Georgia Tech and Coach said we were booked.

Hopefully 2009? 2010? At your place in 2009 and at our place in 2010 would be ideal. O'Leary has the right idea wanting to play two Florida schools a year. With the exception of FIU, our experiences playing Florida schools have all been great.
