94 days until FAU Football kicks off!

Some former Owls who wore #94 includes: Jermaine Council, and Andrew Stryffeler.  Both played DE.

Stryffeler was a team captain in 2013 and finished his undergrad early with almost a 4.0 GPA.

Council was on the roster during both of FAU's Bowl games.

Givens was a DT from Miami who played in the Motor City Bowl and was named Phil Steele's 2011 all SBC Team.

Jones was a DE from Miami and played on the team in 2004 - 2006.

Some former Owls who wore #92 include: Jervonte Jackson, and Kevin Cyrille.

Jackson was at DT from Opa Locka, played in the New Orleans Bowl and was named to the All Sun-Belt second team.

Cyrille was a DL from Miami, he transferred from Western Michigan. In 2009, he had the most tackles by a DL on the team. Was invited to play in the Battle of Florida game in 2011 along with Alfred Morris.

Some former Owls who wore #91 include: Josh Jenkins, and Andy Czuprynski:

Jenkins played DE, from Dillard. Played in the early years of football 2003-2006

Czuprynski played OL after starting his career as a DL. From Venice, FL. Traveled with the team to the Motor City Bowl. Started every game on the line in 2011.

Some former Owls who wore #90 include Vinnie Henderson, and Mauricio Riquer.

Henderson played OT, from South Plantation. In 2007, played in 10 games on special teams and OL, and played in the New Orleans Bowl.

Riquer played DT and was also from South Plantation. Played from 2006-2009. battled some injuries early on.

Henderson also wore #57. Lots of the players mentioned in the countdown wore other numbers as well.

Some former Owls who wore #89 include Tito Pollice, and Nick Osborne.

Pollice was a WR out of Lakeland. Played in the early years of football. redshirted in 2002, and special teams and WR in 2004.

Osborne was a DL from Fort Lauderdale. travel squad member at the Motor City Bowl and saw action in 9 games in 2009.

Some former Owls who wore #88 include: Thomas Parker, and Jason Harmon.

Parker was a WR out of Miami (Northwestern). Was in the inaugural recruiting class. one of Jared Allen's favorite targets in the early days.  In 2002 averaged over 17 yards per catch. In 2003 he stopped to help someone in need by the side of road and was struck by a car. Came back in 2004 and had 14 catches and 1 TD.

Harmon was a TE out of Tampa (Riverview). Paid his dues in 2005 on Special Teams and recorded 7 tackles (4 solo). In 2006 he played in every game and had a reception in every game.

In 2007, played in the New Orleans Bowl and had 7 catches, 97 yards and 1 TD in the Bowl game.

Named to the Lombardi Watch List, 1st Team All Sun Belt.

Became known for his Harmon Hop with his ability to jump over defenders.  Here is his hop against #6 USF in '07, arguably one of the best college football game atmospheres we have had at a home game. Photo from FAU.
