The whole moving of the Orange Bowl is a bad idea but calling our new stadium the Owl Bowl isn't a bad thought at all!

:D As I recall U of M beat Nebraska in the OB. Hmm I wonder who the coach was? I also think that was the "first" football championship won by a Florida school at the Div I level. (1983?)

A couple of the most exciting Super Bowls was played at OB- Jets vs. Colts and Cowboys vs Steelers (I'm too lazy to look up the numbers).

Oh, and it was the home field for the 72, 73 Dolphins.

My point is the OB has great history and winning tradition tied to it. It would be great PR for our program to take part in salvaging what it can from the old relic (rust bucket or not). Not to mention the obvious ties to our founding coach Howard Schnellenberger (although he might think its a rust bucket too!).
