I don't think there many of us feel like shafter. ALot of them did not want to go and alot of them wanted to go. I would LOVE to fly up to see it, but I still don't know if I'll be able to. If anything, I'd be flying out the day of the game. I know FAUtuba is planning on driving. I think the only way we would have felt shafted is if the dance team and cheerleaders went and we didn't.

Hate to say it but nobody reallys pays attention to the cheerleaders at home (admit it… you're all looking at the DT and you only really pay attention to the cheerleaders when you yell, "backflip!") so it's not a huge loss for them not to go.

Of the three groups, I think the band is the most important to go.

I think we could "at the very least" have sent a smaller traveling band like we do for the cheer team etc… not gonna make a huge impact but we have it there for atmosphere and the fans that we have in the stadium… etc

I hate to say this but our band size is the traveling band size, can't go too much smaller.

Before anyone gives me any crap, read any and all of my previous band post.  I love the band and think they are doing a great job but we are still in the growing stages.

I was actually going to reply saying our band is about most school's pep-band size. If we had all of our winds, we would probably be barely over the basketball pep-band average size of 30. If you noticed, Troy brought a pep-band that was probably about 80. We'll get there eventually…hopefully

Yeah, I remember that Troy game… it sounded like they had a giant sub-woofer, there was so much base coming from their side/band…..
