Wyoming pasted FAU for 421 total yards a couple of weeks ago. The Cowboys QB completed 29 of 38 with 223 yards passing against the Owls.

Last week, the same Wyoming team visited Air Force, where it was shut out (10-0) in a Mountain West Conference game. The Cowboys managed only 174 total yards against the Falcons, and the QB was 14 for 31 with 74 yards passing.

A few weeks earlier, the same Wyoming team was shut out (24-0) by a struggling University of Colorado team. The Cowboys managed 230 total yards against the Buffaloes and the QB (total, two might have played) output was 15 for 36 for 154 yards passing.

Such comparisons are not always relevant. But sometimes they are.

Makes me wonder for a couple minutes if we aren't a whole lot worse than Colorado and Air Force.
