Re: Depth at QB?
VanCamp has one year after Rusty (I think) but if the one other 2 improve and excell they could get the nod.
Was there not one QB signed this class? If so thats odd and Id expect a few next year.
GO OWLS.
I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick @$$ and I'm out of bubble gum.

I'm hoping our TBD game is against a weaker opponent so we can put VanCamp in at some point and see what he's got. Rusty didn't impress much when he first got into games either. Let's give JVC a chance. The only thing that worries about Kooi is he looks like he weighs 95lbs. You're supposed to add muscle in college not lose it lol. Haven't really heard much about Wilbert. It seems as if everyone focuses more on Kooi
You are right, that Rusty struggled at first, but he was also a redshirt freshman that first year. Van Camp is now a Junior. I personally don't think it would be beneficial to start Van Camp for 1 season, when you could be grooming Wibert and/or Kooi to start for 3 seasons. We'll just have to see how it shakes out. But these are issues for next Signing Day.
I do agree that we should be scheduling a I-AA team for the last open date. We need to get the young players extra experience for the SBC games.

Kooi is put in charge of the scout team more often than Wilbert. VanCamp practices well, just can't get it done on the field. Kooi may be the backup this season…
