Man, I just want this to be official. I know we have reliable sources here, but until I hear them say "FAU will be taking on CMU in the Motor City Bowl" I will still be nervous.

I expect a good showing...A lot of the time tickets are either given away or discounted in certain instances. I have been twice in years past. My first one was at the Pontiac Silverdome!

CBS Sportsline now has FAU penciled in, but not in bold yet… still a good sign.

Been reading the Astate boards as there are usually a couple of good SBC contact people there.

Rumor mill on thier side is that they declined the bowl invite, because of a 40K gurantteed ticket purchase which opened the door for us.

Pretty short sighted on there part unless they are cleaning house coaching wise and want to use this as an excuse to do so.
