Detroit -- if you're going, sign in here

Are they staying at the Atheneum?    Ford Field is a five minute walk from there! I know what everyone is thinking…SAFETY…but the area around Ford Field and Comerica Park isnt that bad and is the same as any city..just gotta be vigilant..Also that area is Greektown which has a casino as well as great places to eat!

MGM Casino and Motor City Casino are near by! They have shuttles from all hotels. I hope that everyone enjoys Detroit because it has a bad rep (some of which is deserved)..but for the most part, people enjoy their time in the city during these events… examples.. Super Bowl XL…March Madness…World Series..past MCB's….etc

In the downtown area Detroit is no worse than New Orleans. While safety is an issue in any major city it should not persuade people to avoid attending the game.

I'm waiting on the same before I get a hotel. Definitely worth whatever it's going to cost to stay with the team.

Some of my greatest memories from Texas and New Orleans were waking up and going downstairs to have breakfast with the cheer, band, students and players parents.

I'll be there!
I don't know how, but I will find my way to the game.
The hotel, I think is the MARRIOT  and it is $135 per night.
Does anybody want to share a room?

This is from the Motor City Bowl site. But again, FAU may put out official word later this week, so if I were you, I'd wait.

I called both the Westin and Marriott and neither would tell me if FAU is staying there.
