Is there any kind of update as far as tickets sold so far? Last count I heard was 1500. I bought 2 yesterday to donate so I can get my autographed ticket.

haha gotta support the school. I gotta do my part. I get a cool autograph ticket out of it and they just donated 2 more tickets. Gotta give credit where it's due. The promotion to sell 2 tickets at a time is actually very intelligent. We double our sales and people get something in return

FAA Alumni Association to Host MCB Events in Detroit
Team Send Off, Pre and Post Game Parties to be Held

BOCA RATON, FL - The Florida Atlantic National Alumni Association will host a day of events coinciding with the Owls trip to the Motor City Bowl on December 26.

The FAUNAA will have a team sendoff in the lobby of the Detroit Reniassance Center Marriott, the official Owls' team hotel at 4:30 on the day of the game to wish the team luck as they head to Ford Field to take on the Central Michigan Chippewas.

The FAUNAA's official pre-game party will be held in Volt Restaurant, located in the Marriott lobby from 5 to 7 p.m. before the game kicks off. After the game, fans are encouraged to return to Volt for the post-game party, scheduled to start at 10:30. Both the pre-game and post-game part will feature $1 off draft beer and drink specials.

Any questions regarding any of the day's events can be directed to FAUNAA Alumni Board member Rick Smith at [email protected].

Fans who are unable to travel to Detroit for the game are encouraged to attend the official FAU watch party, to be held at the Miller's Ale House, located at 9244 Glades Road in Boca Raton. Festivities will begin at 7 p.m. and all Owl Club members who attend will receive drink specials.

They're kidding right? Leave it to FAU to mess things up. The OFFICIAL watch party is at Millers Ale House on YAMATO Rd. NOT Glades Rd. People need to know this because they shouldn't go out to the west boca location expecting there to be hundreds of FAU fans wanting to watch the game, when everyone is at the East Boca location on Yamato.
