Duron, listen, work hard, make your grades and an early round pick the NFL draft (lots of $$$) is in your future. Don't and….being a Undrafted Free Agent is (very little $). Take advantage of this opportunity, work hard for two years and you can basically be set for life, I wish I were in your shoes! Go get it done Duron!

I'm glad to see that Coach Sims is not putting up Carter's attitude.  I've said it a hundred time before and I'll say it again, our team was severely lacking discipline and it's good to see that it is being put back into place.  From what it sounds like Carter needs a big serving of humble pie and I think FAU is an all you can eat provider of that.  We've all known guys like Carter who were just  naturally good at certain things without trying and after a while they tend to get that "entitled" attitude.  I would think that going from OSU to Bama to FAU would force one to take a good look at themselves and get it together……………..But I sure am glad we got him!

What is important is that Duron gets his life straight before it is too late. Dad being there and smiling as he gets chewed out and pushed shows Dad know this young man needs some tough love NOW! It MAY BE too late, some people NEVER get it, but his Duron's sake I pray it is not. He is not a thug or drug user so, like FAU, cut him a break and give him a chance to grow. THAT is important!

Looks like the rumor of him being dismissed from practice is starting to spread. Just saw 2 posts on twitter about it. One was from an SEC blog and the other from an NFL Network reporter. I responded to NFL Net guy and explained he wasn't really dismissed. He was just being lazy and FAU coaches won't tolerate it

Realistically, this kid is going to have a whole year to turn it around. he probably wont be on the field this year. However, he will be around for the culture change this year which is very good. Throwing out the lazy bad habits of losing and implementing the habits of competing and winning. All these players are beginning to learn what it takes to win, on and off the field. It will benefit him to go through that. I think we will see good things from DC....next year
