What is his 40 time?

Low 4.42

High 4.59

4.42 is definetly NFL calibur.

Teambeer is the most knowledgeable FAU sports fan I know, way smarter than me.

Re: Early NFL Draft Predictions

40 time is one thing, but they factor so much - hands, athleticism, size, physical toughness, and most important can he get separation? He's been good so far. I just hope some of our guys get invited to the combine. The combine snub last year was not cool.  8)

Re: Early NFL Draft Predictions

I agree with TeamBeer about Polo. He had a good half of his freshman season and that's been it.

Every year we keep saying this is gonna be the year that Polo steps it up.

He's not a good defender, and he's even worse at returning kicks.

What has polo done since his freshman year that would warrant him getting drafted?? He won't even get a tryout in the CFL

My two favorite teams are FAU, and who ever is beating FIU!

Re: Early NFL Draft Predictions

Rick Gosselin of the Dallas Morning News says Rob Housler is the NUMBER ONE TE prospect in the 2011 Draft…….

Wouldn't that be SWEET to land a first round pick.

"Running with the football is a strength of Rob Housler. It’s what makes him attractive to NFL scouts. He set a school record at Florida Atlantic with a 68-yard touchdown run as a sophomore in 2007 and also caught a 71-yard pass as a junior in 2008. Heading into this fall, the Converse Judson product is the top-rated tight end in the 2011 NFL draft.

Housler played two seasons as a backup at Florida Atlantic and then blossomed as a junior, catching 32 passes for 519 yards and four touchdowns. But he redshirted as a true senior in 2009, gaining 23 pounds to go from 215 to 238. He also spent the 2009 season simulating quarterbacks in spread offenses for the Florida Atlantic scout team.

Housler can run – and he’ll get the chance on Sundays in 2011
