He may never be a starter in the NFL, but he might make a solid career as a backup who has the confidence to come in and lead a team.

I'm certainly not a football expert or a Gator fan by any means (even though I have a large contingent of friends who attend UF) but I look at the early success of guys like Matt Ryan and think Tebow could match that. I imagine whoever drafts him will try to get him in the game as QB as soon as possible.

Rusty strikes me as more of a Tom Brady, getting drafted low and working his way up to starter.

For every Matt Ryan there are numerous Brady Quinns, Ken Dorseys, and Joey Herringtons…guys who had great success in college but never realized their potential in the NFL or maybe their games just didn't translate to the NFL.

Matt Ryan is the exception to the rule. A QB that comes from college to the NFL and has immediate (rookie) success like him is something that happens very rarely. I don't expect Tebow to do the same thing.

GO OWLS!!!
