E-mail that I got today from FAU:
National City, ESPN Radio 760 and Florida Atlantic University are teaming up to present "National City's College Football Kickoff with Kirk Herbstreit." On Monday, Aug. 4, ESPN College Football Analyst Kirk Herbstreit will visit FAU's Boca Raton campus to headline the event, which will take place on the practice football fields at the Oxley Athletics Center from 5:30 to 8 p.m. All FAU students, faculty and staff are cordially invited to attend.
This free event will feature a variety of interactive games and complementary tailgate food as a part of "A Taste of ESPN 760." There will be a special on-site live broadcast of ESPN Radio 760's Palm Beaches GameDay with Evan Cohen from 4 to 7 p.m.
At 7 p.m. Herbstreit will take center stage to provide his outlook on the upcoming college football season and answer questions from the audience. This event is open to the public and admission is free. For more information, please call 561-297-3710.
Herbstreit is the face of college football. He is the co-host of ESPN's popular "College GameDay," which was recently named favorite studio show by sports fans. Herbstreit is also the analyst on ABC's prime-time Saturday Night Broadcast series. He has been a spokesperson for National City since 2004.
Almost worded like the General Public is not invited, though I think they are allowed in?
Yep, see above.
